We had such a great time last workday we're going back again to Clark Spring #40 on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 7 AM to complete routine brushing of the trail. Directions to Clark spring (Metate Parking Lot) Trailhead Parking from Downtown Prescott is listed in the flyer. If you have them, please bring your own hard hat/bike helmet, gloves and eye protection. Remember to wear long sleeve shirts, pants, closed-toe shoes and bring snacks/water for the morning. We will be back to our vehicles by 11 AM. I will see you there tonight. Whiskey River Tavern has non-alcoholic choices and a full menu. As for YTA, we love the opportunity to get more acquainted with our trail loving friends.

Celebrate National Trails Day on Saturday, June 1 by helping build the brand new "Quaky" Trail #741 on Prescott National Forest!

When: 7:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Where: Meet at Aspen Creek Trailhead, Copper Basin Rd. From downtown Prescott, head south on Montezuma St and turn right onto Copper Basin Road. Continue on Copper Basin Road for 4.6 miles and the Aspen Creek Trailhead will be on the right. Copper Basin Road turns to graded dirt and is suitable for 2WD vehicles.

Please arrive promptly and come prepared with long sleeves, long pants, eye protection, sturdy work boots, snacks and water. Leather gloves, tools, and hard hats are provided if needed. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian or have a volunteer service agreement filled out ahead of time.

It was a nice day to do trail work and a beautiful place to do it. We had a great crew happy to hike half a mile in to brush a portion of trail #40. We even had a traveling guest, just here for a couple weeks, join in. Its wonderful to see how many trail users also enjoy caring for the trails. Thank you to all the volunteers. You made a difference today. 🧡
